Surfing with Soufian

While visiting Morocco for the first time I met many surfers and anyone who has surfed understands the value of a photographer hanging around the waves. I spent a day shooting Ismail and Soufian at a local spot near Sidi Kaouki. Soufian had offered to take me to Imsouane while we were both on vacation and enjoying Morocco’s coastline.

Imsouane was a game changer for me. I fell in love with the small fishing town (now famous surf spot). Eating fresh fish Chez Jolo overlooking the bay as the tide came in. I ended up staying there hanging around Olo Surf and Nature, meeting and making friends with the laidback longboarders from around the world and kind, generous locals.

Unfortantely, I lost some of my favourite photos on an old dead hard drive (A constant reminder to backup 3 times). Soufian was kind enough to send some of these but due to the file compression there are not the high res and have loss some sharpness.
