Exploring the textures of Essaouira’s fishing port in Morocco.

Removing the color to reveal the details, textures and contrasts in what seemed a mediocre photos at first.

With over 2 years in Essaouira, Morocco you would have thought I would have had more images - or better images to say the least. I may have but after losing a hard drive and over year and a half of images I wouldn't know. I played around with this small series as I originally was intrigued by the concrete ‘jacks’ as I like to call them beside the pier. Although the images may not be my best I enjoyed editing in Black and White as it is not often I do it.
