Ericeira, Portugal

Portugal is known for surfing, whether it’s the iconic big wave surfing at Nazare or longboard rides along the coast. Back in 2017, I started my journey on a sabbatical and Portugal was my first destination. After landing in Lisbon and exploring Sintra, I headed up to Ericeira, a small surf town. I booked hostel and grabbed a surf lesson during my stay. After my surf lesson I sat at Ribiera d'Ilhas, a World Surfing Reserve and took a few images of the surfers there.
